  • “Personal Chef” – A professional chef prepares meals at the User’s location for a longer period or multiple occasions based on their needs as indicated in the preference form.
  • “Cooking Lessons” – Experienced chefs offer cooking lessons at the User’s location or another designated venue, with menus customized by both parties.
  • “Delivery Foods” – A chef delivers food to the User’s location and provides additional support, such as answering questions and offering serving suggestions.
  • “Thematic Events” – The Company organizes themed events such as weddings and birthday parties, with professional chefs tailoring menus to User preferences.

(e) “User” or “Customer” – Any individual, company, or organization visiting or using the Website and its Services.

Professionals do not directly contract with Users but operate under the mediation of the Company. The Company itself may also act as a Professional.

Services

Through our online platform www.privatechefserviceschania.gr, we offer comprehensive meal preparation services by experienced professional chefs. Users can browse, request, and book Services by providing the necessary information.

The presentation of Services on the Website is an invitation for Users to submit a service request. It does not constitute a binding commitment by our Company regarding the availability or immediate execution of the Services. Our Company reserves the right to reject any submitted request at its sole discretion before the final service agreement is concluded.

A service contract is formed when (a) a User submits a completed request online (acting as an offer) and (b) our Company accepts the request via email confirmation. The Company is not obligated to guarantee the finalization of any service contract.

Upon contract formation, our Company must deliver the agreed Service within the specified timeframe, and the User must pay the specified fee. If the User fails to make timely payment, our Company reserves the right to claim the amount due along with any applicable compensation for delays.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Company’s brand name, trademark, and distinctive elements, along with the content of the Website (texts, graphics, images, sound, interface, presentation, and software), are the exclusive property of our Company and are protected by Greek, EU, and international intellectual property laws.

Payment Methods

The Services are provided upon payment of the applicable fee through the following methods:

  1. Online payment by credit card – We collaborate with a licensed financial institution in Greece to process credit card transactions securely.
  2. Bank transfer – Users may transfer the payment amount to our bank account at Piraeus Bank (IBAN: GR13 0172 7580 0057 5809 0893 376, Name: Plakakis Georgios). After completing the transfer, Users must notify us via email or fax.

A deposit of €85 is required to confirm a booking, while the remaining amount is paid upon service delivery. For the “Personal Chef” service, Users must pay an additional €45 per day with a minimum charge of two days. If a Service is not provided due to non-payment, our Company has no further obligations.

Right of Withdrawal

Users may withdraw from a service contract within 14 calendar days from the contract date unless service provision has begun with their explicit consent. If withdrawal occurs within five (5) days before service commencement, the deposit is retained as compensation for preparatory costs.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via email.

If a Professional withdraws from providing a Service, the User will be notified immediately, and the deposit will be refunded within 15 business days.

Limitation of Liability

Our Website and Service descriptions are provided “as is” without warranties regarding accuracy, functionality, or suitability. Users assume full responsibility for assessing the appropriateness of the requested Services. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the completeness of the Website’s content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our Company disclaims liability for direct or indirect damages resulting from Website use or service provision, except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence. If liability arises, compensation is capped at €100 per incident.

We are not liable for delays due to force majeure. If such events exceed 10 days, either party may terminate the contract without penalty.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any disputes between the Company and Users regarding the Website or Services are subject to the jurisdiction of the Athens courts and governed by Greek law, excluding conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
